Pallet Production

KEFAG, Inc. has been producing EUR (UIC435-2) pallets without interruptions longer than any other company in Hungary.

In our two plants (Jánoshalma, Bugac), we have the capacity to produce 900,000 certified EUR or EPAL pallets annually along with another 400,000 custom pallets per year.

Both our Bugac Wood Processing Plant and our ÖKOPAL Pallet Plant provide up-to-date technological conditions for enhanced drying and also heat treatment (ISPM 15) when required. The finished pallets are stored in roofed bays protected against rain on a total area of 3,000 square meters at the two plants, enabling us to store 50,000 pallets at a time. The stock allows for speedy shipping upon receiving orders. Our pallets are primarily made of poplar and pine, grown in part in our own forests. Deliveries are usually made by truck, but from our Jánoshalma plant railway shipping is available, too.
